Mariana Renzi came to the United States from Rosario, Argentina where she was born and raised. From a family of third generation Italian immigrants, they were farmers and founders of a farmer's guild in her native state. Being connected to the food industry, she began working part time in her brother's pizzeria while studying architecture. In 1999, Mariana went to New York for a quick break and decided to stay. While doing so, she worked in a few Manhattan restaurants before moving to California where she started working at La Terza Restaurant with Claudio Blotta and Gino Angelini. After the restaurant closed, she took opportunities managing at Cuvee and BreadBar in Century City. In 2007, Mariana started working at barbrix, first as a server and later as a manager. She stayed with barbrix until early 2015 when she joined All'Acqua as a manager. Now, she has come to Highland Park to work with Claudio Blotta once again with the opening of Côté Est.
